Hey folks, I’m Dave Braun, and the head of Pro Website Creators.

I want to bring significance to everyone I meet, and a great way to do that is through intelligent website design and smart business practices, which is what I try to do.

And on this blog, I write about WordPress website design techniques, strategies, and helpful tips.

I try to post once a week on this site and once a week on prowebsitecreators.com.

A little more about me

In the picture you’ll see me next to the most awesome person in the world, my awesome high school sweetheart and bride of almost 33 years. Cheryl and I have two grown sons, both graduated from college. They are really good kids and we still have a blast hanging out.

After graduating from college, I worked as an electrical engineer at a semiconductor company for almost 30 years and was fortunate to create six patents (it was nice to earn some money from them!). I started enjoying programming and in 2011 formed Pro App Creators (the parent company of Pro Website Creators) and created two iPhone apps ( “GreatHusbandNow” and “DateNightPlansNow” ). And an iPhone app needs a website, so then I started falling in love with website design, starting with Joomla and then moving into WordPress.

In 2013 Cheryl and I partnered with Greg and Carrie Beavers and some fantastic people in Florida to form One Flesh Awakening, a marriage ministry intended to help you take your marriage from Ordinary to Extraordinary, and I also host the podcast we do.

And I’m a former elder and led small groups for more than 25 years at Journey Christian Church in Irvine, California. We’re presently attending Mariners Church in Irvine, CA.
